Let me take you back to where this journey began, at the start of 2020.
After five years of living in Los Angeles, ambitiously chasing my dreams in the film industry, I had achieved the kind of success I once dreamed of—at such a young age, I was getting paid to travel all around the world, working on incredible projects with some of my biggest inspirations. In my mind, I really felt like I had made it.
Yet, no matter how much my work expanded or how much money came in, I knew there was so much more that I wanted to create in this world, but I just wasn’t sure exactly what that was. I longed for clarity, but the city's noise kept me distracted long enough to ignore the calls of my intuition.
As March of 2020 rolled around, my city of Los Angeles came to a standstill. Suddenly, everything changed. After what we thought would be just a couple of weeks of lockdown turned to months, I knew it was time to leave.
The land was raw and untouched, with nothing more than running water (thankfully!). It was just me my tent, a camping stove, an ice chest, & my car.
Stripping down to the basics, I found myself in an entirely new reality— surrounded by nature. It was just me, the olive trees, and an expanse of open space - the first time in a long time I felt that I could truly breathe.
I began to pour myself into all kinds of creative projects, building an outdoor shower, an outdoor kitchen, and even growing my own lil grassy meadow. It became my very own playground, a space where I could create anything.
I packed up my belongings, bought a canvas bell tent, and moved to my family’s newly bought olive orchard in North County San Diego.
I went from the endless distractions of city life to the vast spaciousness of nature.
Without the constant buzz of the outside world, I finally gave myself the chance to turn inward and ask:
What is it that I truly want to create in this life?
Days turned into weeks as I found solace beneath the shade of the olive trees, spending hours exploring nearby rivers, hiking trails, journaling, reflecting, and immersing myself in books and the ideas of brilliant minds.
The wind, the birdsong, the dappled sunlight filtering through the branches—I began to truly hear the whispers of my own intuition.
The Meadow became my sanctuary, a place where I could pause, reflect, and dream about the life I truly wanted to create.
It was where I reconnected with my intuition and my creativity. I found clarity on my most aligned and expansive life path, I discovered the power of tuning into my inner world & the magic realizations it would lead me to.
The lessons I learned during this time of introspection shaped me forever. I came to understand that creating a life of fulfillment doesn’t start with external achievements; it begins within. And when we start there, we have the power to call in what is truly aligned with our soul’s calling into this life.
The Meadow became more than just a physical space; it became a state of being. A portal to the deepest parts of myself.
It’s already within you. It’s always been there, and you always have access whenever you choose to connect to it.
Today, my mission is to embody the wisdom I have gained from the path that this transformative adventure led me on and share it with the world.
Whether you’re at a crossroads in life or simply yearning for something more, my hope is that The Meadow serves as a guiding light to help you design a life of bliss, connection, creative expression, alignment, and abundance that you can’t wait to wake up to.
The truth is; you don’t need to move off-grid to an olive orchard to discover this connection.
